Rich Standowski

Keyboards and Vocals

Being the first born son of polish parents, at age 4, guess what Richie was doing in the music business? Taking accordion lessons. Richie played with numerous garage bands and still kept the squeeze box thing going. Then Richie got the urge to play drums, so along with Fran Fee, “Frank Thomas and the Coachman” were born.

After the Army stint, Richie’s #1 musical influence was Felix Cavaliere of the Young Rascals, which got him going with a Hammond B-3 “the God of all keyboards” – hence “The neighborhood Gang” was here, doing the local club circuit – as we all were.

At the  ’98 Rock’n’Roll Reunion he brought out the B-3 again. Then Richie got the call from the Rockdaddys and the rest is history…

Rich and his Wife Donna love to travel the world!
